Most of you probably know by now that I am once again your Show President and I look forward to meeting up with everyone again at the show. It is almost show time and it will be held on the 5th & 6th March 2010. Over the last 4 months the Committee have been working hard to make it the best show ever.

We have recently had a successful showgirl dinner with 5 lovely young ladies entering the 2010 Showgirl competition. All were well presented and pleasant. As you would all know, only one can win and the winner was Madeleine Hamilton who will now go to the Zone Finals in February 2010.

Unfortunately the Rodeo planned for Friday night of the show has had to be cancelled; however there will still be lots of other entertainment for everyone to enjoy. We will have fantastic displays in the main pavilion, shearing demonstrations, billy cart races (so get your carts ready), woodchop, camel racing and lots more. Saturday night we will have the fireworks display and there will be a grand parade around 12.30 pm and the opening of the show by Brenda McGahan, from Australian Wool Innovations Ltd. There will be something for everyone, young and old, so come along and have a great time. It is the people of Mudgee and the surrounding district that make a show great, so it will be good to see you all there.
