ENTERTAINMENT
There will be loads to do and see at this
years Show. Planned entertainment includes the Country Energy
Woodchop, the Camel Cup, the Ute Muster, Fireworks, reptile
displays and lots more.
Look in on the Junior Judging and Junior Parade competitions
to see the up and coming rural achievers of the future learn
the ropes. The Showman's Guild will be back with their huge
selection of thrilling rides and a multitude of sideshow attractions.
The Cudgegong Valley Antique Machinery Club will be demonstrating
some incredible machinery of the past.
Fireworks: Saturday 6th March in the Main
Arena at 9.00pm
Animal Nursery: Get up close and personal
with the cutest and the cuddliest in the Animal Nursery and
meet some of the competition in the Livestock Sections. There
will also be free kids activities, so kids make sure you get
there.
FREE KIDS ACTIVITIES
These free events will be
awarded ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd along with consolation
and other prizes.
SATURDAY 10.00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Hay bale stacking, watermelon eating, donut eating, pie
eating, egg throwing, gumboot throwing, running races and
sack races. Announcements will be made 15 minutes before
they take place - assemble between Main Pavilion and the
Mudgee Show Office under the Grandstand.
Hay Bale Stacking Competition will have three sections:
12 - 16 years, 17 – 21 years and over 21 years. Prize
money sponsored by BN & HF Stanford
Junior Showgirl – judged at 5pm Saturday in
the Main Arena
Open to anyone under 14 years of age that has entered an
exhibit at the 2009 Mudgee Show. Entry is free.
